Abstract Minds and Art

Whats is your mind and what is your reality? Abstract art tries to interpret our individual experiences as we connect our inner and outer worlds together.

Abstract art is a style of visual art that does not represent external reality in a realistic way. Instead, it emphasizes the use of colors, shapes, and textures to create a composition that is non-representational or non-objective. Abstract art can be divided into two broad categories: geometric abstraction and gestural abstraction.

Geometric abstraction involves the use of geometric shapes, lines, and forms to create a composition. Artists who work in this style often use precise lines and shapes to create a sense of order and structure in their work.

Gestural abstraction, on the other hand, emphasizes the physical act of creating art, with an emphasis on movement, gesture, and spontaneity. Artists who work in this style often use techniques such as dripping, splattering, or smearing paint onto a canvas to create a sense of movement and energy.

Abstract art has been popular since the early 20th century and has been practiced by many well-known artists, including Wassily Kandinsky, Jackson Pollock, and Pablo Picasso. Its popularity continues to this day, with many contemporary artists working in a variety of abstract styles that reflect our abstract minds through the form of art.
